Winchelsea is a small, in fact, a very small town based in the Rother district. It is lies between Icklesham and Rye and is often argued to be one of the smallest, if not the smallest town in Britain. Winchelsea is famous for being the location of Spike Milligans grave, Winchelsea Court Hall museum, Tomb of Gervase Alard and St. Thomas the Martyr church. Winchelsea also has The New Inn and Pub 31 pubs, some local shops and plenty of countryside!
